STUDIO MIKLO is a design studio based in Reykjavik, Iceland founded in 2021 by the designers Helga Björk Ottósdóttir and Hjördís Gestsdóttir. With backgrounds in textile design and ceramics from the Iceland Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik School of Visual Arts and Glasgow School of Art they work on the border between visual arts and product design. The process is allowed to dictate the journey between different material worlds each time, but the main focus is on clay.
